, ,As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships with customers, ensuring that they’re achieving the highest level of satisfaction, and advising them on long-term growth strategies. The position includes a base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 plus health benefits and additional perks!

THE LOCATION
- Office location – North York, ON
- This is a hybrid, work-from-office and remote position
THE PRODUCT/SERVICE
- Custom apparel design, production, decoration, labels & finishing, and fulfillment & E-Commerce
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS
Any and all industries including but not limited to collegiate, corporate, food and beverage, entertainment, retail, and private labels. Primarily selling to Marketing Manager, Purchasing Manager, Buyer.
THE POSITION
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be playing a key role in the sales process and contributing to the overall success of the Sales Team by acting as the first and last touch point for all orders. In addition to partnering with the Sales Team in the creation of client deliverables, you will be responsible for all administrative and operational duties pertaining to the sales department.
SALES CYCLE & PRODUCT VALUE
- Average sales cycle: 3-6 weeks
- Average product value ranges from $5K to $10K
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
- Identifying and generating new qualified opportunities through multi-channel communication (cold-calls, emails, video calls, online, social) as needed.
- Cultivating and nurturing the sales cycle process from initial contact through to sales order placement.
- Manage a book of business and maintain active engagement with both new and existing leads, while sustaining strong client relationships.
- Planning, executing and delivering product suggestions, business proposals, and pitch decks to clients in alignment with margin requirements and strategic revenue goals.
- Developing and executing key account plans to deliver key account growth targets.
- Working closely with production to maximize sales and sell-through by delivering orders by analyzing current inventory levels and availability during the sales cycle.
- Developing a deep understanding of each client account, account history, key stakeholders, the decision-making process, business plan objectives, areas of opportunity, strategies to grow the business, pain points, and competitive landscape.
- Reporting directly to the VP of Sales.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary $70,000-$80,000

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
- 5+ years inside sales/account management /project management experience
- Industry experience in the custom apparel, print Industry, or selling custom marketing solutions experience is ideal
EDUCATION
Post-secondary degree or professional equivalent.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Online screen sharing
- Social media savvy
