As a Sales Specialist, you will be selling commercial Employee Benefits, and Retirement Saving services to business clients across all industries. It involves both inside and outside sales, with the primary focus on hunting for new accounts. The role is entrepreneurial in nature, with a guaranteed compensation of $65k-$75k for the first 2 years, where the sales specialist builds a book of business and earns residual commissions year over year and a lot of other perks!

THE LOCATION

  • The head office is in Hamilton, ON 
  • This is a work-from-office position - 4 days in the office. 
  • This is an Inside Sales, Outside Sales role - (60% of the time is in the field meeting clients)

  • Personal Insurance: This includes coverage for home, auto, and personal valuables. They are dedicated to finding the best solutions to protect clients' assets, offering services like signature service personal insurance products and group home and auto programs​

  • Employee Benefits: The company also offers customized group benefits, retirement savings solutions, and benefits administration to help businesses attract and retain talent​ 

This position will be focusing on selling the Employee Benefits

First Year: 

  • New Business Development 75%
  • Admin Duties 25%

2nd Year: 

  • New Business Development 50%

  • Warm Leads Supplied 25%
  • Prospect & Create Own List 75%

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • $65k-$75k guaranteed salary+commissions for the first two years, with uncapped/residual commissions 
  • First-year OTE of $80K 
  • The current team of sales in the 5-10-year range is earning $150,000 to $350,000 yearly

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of Sales Experience
  • Experience selling insurance-related services would be considered a plus 

 

EDUCATION

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
